Refund Policy
Effective Date: July 23, 2026
Last Updated: July 23, 2026
1. HOW PURCHASES WORK
All purchases in the Art Official Grading app are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. AOG does not receive, process, or store your payment card information, and AOG cannot directly issue refunds for App Store purchases.
2. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND FROM APPLE
Because Apple processes all payments, refund requests must go to Apple:
- Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Select the purchase and choose "Request a refund"
Apple decides refund requests under its own policies. Apple's decision is final.

3. OUR POLICY ON DIGITAL GOODS
3.1 Immediate Delivery and Consumption
Tokens, packs, boxes, design unlocks, and grading services are digital goods delivered immediately upon purchase. When you spend a token — for example, submitting a card for grading or applying a design — that item is consumed at that moment and the service has been rendered.
3.2 Confirmation Before Spending
The App requires you to confirm before real-money purchases and before spending tokens. Confirming means you intend the transaction and understand the item will be used immediately.
3.3 Grades and Assessments
A completed condition assessment is a service that has been performed. Because AOG grades are automated visual estimates (see our Terms of Service, Section 3), disagreement with a grade is not by itself grounds for a refund. The service was delivered as described.
3.4 Unused Purchases
Purchases of tokens or packs that you have not yet opened or spent are the most straightforward to address. Contact us.
4. WHEN WE WILL HELP
We want to be fair. If something genuinely went wrong, tell us and we will make it right. Situations where we will typically issue a replacement, credit, or support your refund request with Apple include:
- Technical failure — you were charged but did not receive the tokens, pack, or item
- Grading failure — a submission failed, errored out, or never completed, and a token was consumed
- Duplicate charge — you were charged more than once for the same item
- App defect — a bug caused an unintended purchase or loss of a purchased item
- Unauthorized purchase — a purchase you did not make or authorize
In these cases we will generally restore the lost tokens or items directly to your account, which is usually faster than a refund. Where a monetary refund is appropriate, we will support your request to Apple.
5. HOW TO CONTACT US
Email support@artofficialgrading.com with:
- The email address on your AOG account
- What you purchased and approximately when
- What went wrong
- Your Apple receipt or order ID, if available
We aim to respond within 2 business days.
6. SUBSCRIPTIONS
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
To cancel: iPhone → Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Art Official Grading → Cancel Subscription.
Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep access through the end of the current billing period. Cancellation does not automatically refund the current period; refund requests go to Apple (Section 2).
7. WHAT WE DON'T REFUND
Absent a technical failure or defect, we do not provide refunds or restore items for:
- Tokens or packs that were opened, spent, or consumed
- Completed assessments where you disagree with the resulting grade
- A card receiving a lower grade than you hoped
- Difference between an AOG grade and a third-party grading service's grade
- Change of mind after purchase
- Failure to cancel a subscription before renewal
8. FRAUD AND ABUSE
We may decline requests and may suspend accounts in cases of fraud, chargeback abuse, or repeated bad-faith refund requests.
9. YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS
Nothing in this Policy limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be limited by agreement.
10. CHANGES
We may update this Policy. Changes apply to purchases made after the effective date.
